The 3D Animation course focuses on one skill: modelling, texturing, rigging, lighting, animation, rendering and compositing, using tools like Maya, 3ds Max, Blender and After Effects. The Master Diploma in Animation and VFX (MDAV) is a 2-year program that covers Graphic Design, Video Editing, Animation and VFX together. Students learn the full pre-production, production and post-production workflow using industry software such as Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Maya, Blender and Nuke. They also build a professional portfolio and showreel, and placement assistance is included.
In animation, you can work as a 3D animator, animating characters and objects for films, gaming and digital media. In VFX, you can work as a VFX artist or compositor, blending 3D elements into live-action footage.
